Spanish company V&V Rending is planning to invest $180 million in Angola, a country in south-central Africa, in wind power production, expecting to launch Angola’s first wind farm in 2020.
According to Pedro Luís Villar López, the chairman of the Spanish company, the project located in Angola’s Malanje province also includes construction of a 62-mile high-voltage power transmission line.
Villar López also said that the company plans several hydroelectric projects in other regions of the country.
