BRAZIL – French renewable power producer Voltalia will soon connect its new 2 GW transmission line to the Brazilian grid, having reached the physical completion of the transmission project.
The company finalised construction work on the project, which included building a new 32-mile transmission line and a new substation developed by WEG.
The project will increase the power evacuation capacity of the Serra Branca wind farm cluster with a 2.4-GW capacity potential.
